5 Miami Beaches With High Poop Levels

It's been happening at South Florida beaches all summer, high levels of poop causing beaches to be shut down and swimmers to be aware.

Now, 5 Miami-Dade beaches are under a no swim warning. Crandon North, Crandon South, Dog Beach Rickenbacker Causeway, Cape Florida and Key Biscayne (Beach Club) are closed on this beautiful weekend after lab testing found the poop levels too high. The bacteria, enterococci, can cause sickness in humans and animals.

This is a major issue for the tourists that schedule trips to visit those popular Miami beaches, but what can be done? Nothing.

So, the pool in your backyard or neighborhood that's maintained by chlorine may be your best bet this weekend.
