As an alumna of the Florida A&M University, Meag began her broadcast career at the colleges’ radio station, WANM 90.5FM. Meag prides herself on being the voice of the new generation, while paying homage and respect to those who came before her. She enjoys being active in her community and mentoring and empowering girls to express their true voice. An avid connoisseur of pop culture, Meag is also a professional journalist and valid source for the latest in entertainment news and headlines.
She is well versed in all forms of media, whether it's behind the scenes, in print, on camera, or a microphone.
Over the last six years, she has worked in numerous radio markets, such as, 104.7 The Flame in Port St Lucie, Fl ; BEATZ 96.3 in West Palm Beach,Fl, and 92.9 WTUG in Tuscaloosa AL. She now lives in Miami, Fl where she works for iHeartRadio's, legendary Y-100. In this role, she is the local producer for The Elvis Duran Show and overnight on-air talent. At each station, she helped developed the station’s online voice and presence.
When it comes to social media, she loves staying abreast on current trends. Not only is she a freelance social media manager for several small to large businesses, she also teaches social media classes at The Connecticut School of Broadcasting's Miami campus.
In 2016, she founded Women In Radio LLC., an organization for the support and advancement of women in the radio industry. She is in charge of Women In Radio’s daily social media accounts, designing graphics/merchandise, securing sponsorship/donations, and curating small to large scale events.
